Here is why I sympathize with the women of this site.

So let’s say a single lady is looking for a decent guy, so she posts a profile: “Hi, I am a confident, attractive young woman who is looking for a confident secure man. With a job.”

And the torrent of emails begins. Poor girl now has to sort through several dozen emails to find gold in the dirt. Unfortunately, they share a few things in common: overused compliments - “u r sooo cute/hot/etc.,” a supplicating tone, “please, please like me, here I am,” or immediate date invitations, “hey I am going to be bored all weekend, let’s hang out,” and all this is accompanied by self description that you typically find on one’s resume.

And just like the remaining messages sprinkled with unwelcomed sexual innuendos or just plain straight proposals for sex, they all head for the trash. Most without even being read fully.

So where does this leave me? I am pretty confident in who I am and I know what I deserve in this life. You just read my ramblings and you probably stopped often and said, “That is so true!”. Well, glad you agree . But you’re here so keep reading. I'm getting to what you really want to know about.

First the stats - I am 36, employed, tall, Black, male; I don’t live in my mother’s basement, I have neither children nor any crazy exes; I have never been in the justice system; I am disease and drug free; I neither drink nor smoke.

I'm artsy and maybe a teeny bit fartsy. I love photography, shooting video, editing video, graphic design and calling people on their shit, especially women. Does that make me a bit of a prick? Maybe. Sometimes. But the fun kind. If I were in a movie I'd want to be the villain because the villain oftentimes get to say and do what we'd really do if the shackles were off. In most movies the villain is the most interesting character. Think about it, who's been the star of more films - Clarice Starling or Hannibal Lecter?

I'm not into the bar/club scene (large part of why I'm here). I'm the kind of guy that would much rather spend the day rafting through rapids, jumping out of an airplane or piloting the airplane that you jump out off and then spending the night unwinding at a local restaurant talking about how we came within an inch of losing our lives.

As for what I'm seeking most when it comes to relationships, it would be four things - to find a woman to whom I'm physically attracted because chemistry counts... to find a woman with whom I'm emotionally compatible... to find a woman with whom I'm intellectually compatible (the hardest one)... and to keep these three women from ever meeting each other cuz, ya know, they'd kill me!
