My name is Seth, and I'm a huge music lover, it's my job and my passion, so I try to attend as many live shows as I can. I'm really into discovering new things (music, movies, books, you name it), so I'm about as open minded as they come. You might see me at the symphony one weekend, and a KMFDM concert the next. I don't really fit into any kind of box myself, so I don't make assumptions about others based upon their musical preferences, the clothes they wear, their politics, etc. We're all just people, and we're all trying to get as much enjoyment out of this short life as we can pack in.

Bands: It varies, but lately I've been listening to Sigur Ros, Andrew Bird, The Sword, Bright Eyes, Explosions in the Sky, Hammok, and Black Mountain alot. Pink Floyd is always on my list.

Movies: Lawrence of Arabia, Caddyshack, Dumb and Dumber, The Outlaw Josey Whales, Bond movies, The Big Lebowski, Brazil, Dr. Strangelove, Once Upon a Time in the West, Patton, In the Mouth of Madness, Into the Wild, This is Spinal Tap, Evil Dead 2, Pulp Fiction, Casablanca, True Romance

Books: The Stand, The Dark Tower Series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Red Storm Rising, The Elegant Universe, A Brief History of Time, House of Leaves, The Talisman, and anything by H.P. Lovecraft

Some of my dislikes

Hmm... This one is more difficult since I consider myself a pretty positive person. I guess my main ones are drama and arguing. It's just not worth the energy. There are things that are worth standing up for, but ya gotta choose your battles. The other is dishonesty; I'd rather have the cold hard truth, than a web of lies any day.

Enough of that. To end on a positive note, I'm about as easy to get along with as anyone you'll meet, and I'm outgoing to a fault (comes from the job). I'm looking for someone who loves to laugh, and is willing to let their silly side shine (alliteration ftw!). She should be as drama free as possible (not a doormat though), love the arts, and have an open mind towards life as a whole. Oh, I also love smart women, it's sexy as hell when a woman knows and cares about what's going on in this crazy world.
