Yorkshire lass born & bred. Wicked sense of humour with a healthy measure of sarcasm.
I have a warm heart, I care deeply about others and I'm generous by nature but the genes of tact & diplomacy passed me by so I'm very blunt and down to earth. I was brought up with good manners so it's pretty safe to take me out in public, not sure about meeting your mum though.
I like MUSIC, mostly rock/metal but I have very eclectic taste from Abba to ZZ Top, can't stand cRap,****y & western, jazz or trance, prance, dance. I enjoy live gigs and am an avid festival goer, love camping.
I have a serious FILM addiction, love horror but again my taste can vary, my living room looks like blockbuster! I own about 400 film titles.
Don't watch that much TV but when I do it's quality, lots of American dramas and I don't watch ANY soaps.
BOOKS play a big part in my life, I always have a book or 3 on the go.I may be blonde but it comes out of a bottle, an intelligent brunette lurks beneath so I like quizzes and puzzles that challenge me mentally.
I almost forgot to mention DRIVING, I absolutely love it..."I'm an excellent driver"...(but a rubbish navigator) My dream come true would be to take part in the Paris to Dakar rally.
I currently WORK in the voluntary sector, I volunteer at a local project for young people and I'm involved in community groups and neighbourhood management. I have two sons aged 21 & 15, one dog and two cats so a bit of a madhouse or organised chaos depending on your point of view!
I can find humour in just about anything, I'm looking for someone who can laugh at life, to make me laugh is to win my heart. Personality is more important than looks and I'm not in any hurry so I want to get to know you before we meet.
