I would describe myself as a friendly,creative,caring person and I like to laugh and have fun. I have a strong value system and moral compass that guides me through this crazy place called life. I enjoy quiet times with family and friends. I have 2 children they are aged 13 and 12. To round out the family we have 2 dogs and a dozen fish in our pond(really!).

I am a good cook and enjoy entertaining at the diningroom table, on the deck or at a picnic in the park. I like to read mystery novels and Jeffery Deaver is a favorite author. I enjoy a variety of movies from comedy to drama though I do like to go to the movies, my favorite way to enjoy them is on the couch snuggled under a blanket. I have always enjoyed live theatre and have had the opportunity to work behind the scenes in a few small theatre productions.

I enjoy staying active with a variety of activites and the gym routine. I like to swim, skate and play badminton or mini golf (not quite hitting the links but it is a start) as well as hiking and walking. I am a home owner and I like to watch DIY shows and have started some fix it projects around home. I am exploring photography and am mostly behind the camera. I have been a volunteer in my community for a long time and enjoyed running a school reading program for 4 years.

I am definitely looking for someone who can keep life interesting... My someone special would be someone who is funny, romantic, self confident and caring with family values. He would be a gentleman who is not afraid to share his hopes his dreams and his goals for the future. He must want someone to walk beside him in an interdependant relationship. He should enjoy quiet times as well as social outings both with me and independantly. He will know what he wants, how to do it and he has the drive to get the job done.

Dates could consist of spending time together talking, walking and enjoying each others company over coffee or being active indoors or out. The place is not as important as the quality of the time spent together doing things each other enjoy. Whether it be a picnic in the park, a fancy night on the town or chasing seagulls at the beach sharing time with that special someone holds true value to me.
