I'm a country girl who's moved to town and my philosophy is "I may have to grow old, but I don't have to grow up!" I love music of most kinds, classical to country, and can appreciate paintings on black velvet as well as Picasso. I've traveled a lot, but I still like nothing better than sitting in front of fire (campfire or fireplace) on a cool evening. My friends say I have a great sense of humor and I'm fun to be around, plus my dog adores me, and she's a great judge of character!

I start every day with a cup of Tim Horton's coffee, am a good cook when I have someone to cook for and spontaneous adventures are my favorite kind. I like to travel, especially to places off the beaten track, and have trouble resisting a challenge.

I make my living as an editor, but I also write romance novels, and always have my camera with me 'cause I love photography, too. My family is important to me, and I'm lucky to have my kids and grandkids close, and my mom and extended family a comfortable drive away.

I'd love to meet someone who is also laid-back and easy-going who's looking for a friendship that may turn into more.
