I am a builder by trade and have spent a great deal of time studying the state of the world environment and believe that in a shift in the way we live we can rise to the challenge ahead of us as a world . I love to play around the yard and get such a thrill in the spring to see what is showing it head out of the dirt . Some times I can't control myself. I have to take the day off and just play with cleaning up and planting and moving plants . I play blues harmonica and hand drums and have many friends come around to play . Recently I was hand hewing a beam while a bluegrass band was playing in my yard . It was so down home . Sometimes it feels like this is the stuff that life is for and all the work is just a way to get by . The fact for me is the more down home things get the less I need to depend on the outside . Another conversation for another day . I have a lot of good friends and a lot of good neighbors . I love to learn and tend to be science and technically minded . I am also very artistic . Traveling to new places is fun , Even if it is a town 50 miles away that I have never gotten to know . I have 2 great kids that share many of the same values . We are very close and enjoy our time together .

The Internet has changed the nature of dating . Now you can talk to someone for months and not know them . The little things about people really matter . So i am slow moving knowing that matters are the heart are to be handled with care . So going for a walk and sitting around the water talking . Maybe lunch or coffee . When the time for romance comes it is fun to go for it . To take it to great extremes is in the realm of the unexpected . Surprise can be a treat . I don't want to give any ideas away but it is finding some one that I really enjoy and how many ways can you show them . always new and refreshing ways . The Internet and texting can be a fun way to say you care .
