I am new to the area and I am just looking to meet someone to hang out with, perhaps enjoy the city a little bit (since I am new and all), and just have a good time with.

A little bit about me (okay, a lot):
-I am very sarcastic (to me, life is more fun that way) but, when the situation calls for it I can be plenty serious. If you don't appreciate sarcasm (and witty exchanges), than I am not your type of person. If I make jokes at your expense then chances are I am interested in you in one way or another. Do not worry; self deprecating humor is a trait of mine as well. After all, if you cannot take it how can you dish it out...

-I believe life is all about choices and saying that everything happens for a reason or god has a plan for everyone is a cop out that allows people to not accept responsibility for their choices and the consequences they bring. However, that does not mean I don't believe in fate, I just think fate is mostly a combination of circumstance (timing), choice, and consequence...

-I am a nice guy

-But I have my a**hole moments like any other guy

-While there are/will always be 'white' lies; I am an honest and upfront person

-I tried to learn how to play the guitar and failed, this time

-I always hold the door open for people even if I have to wait in order to do so (god forbid I take some of my time to do something for someone else)

-I will never (ok, hardly ever) talk bad about my ex's as I firmly believe that you learn from every experience, even the bad ones you can still learn something.

-Too bad a lot of women don't seem to be the same way, it would save them the trouble of continuously dating douche bags... :)

-I love the FML, if you find it addictively funny then we probably have the same type of humor.

-I do a little volunteer work when I can (mostly with but not limited to working w/kids)

-I love cooking but, I am becoming concerned it may just be the only creative thing I am good at...

-While I am not religious, I find myself fascinated by religion and its followers

-Generally speaking, I believe women really are smarter than men (even if more emotional, haha) so with that in mind... Show me your brains behind your beauty and I will show the respect you deserve and try to keep up.

-I readily admit that looks do matter and while they are not everything by any means, they are what people notice about other people first. Just like money isn't everything but, of course no one likes losers. Like it or not, that is life. You either accept it or don't & life passes you by.

-I have a saying relative to the above mentioned line: 'Looks get your foot in the door, your personality closes the door behind you, and your bank account gets you in her bed...' (slightly sarcastic ladies)

I know it says I am here for "friends" but, I just think there are no expectations for this kind of thing. That being said, I am open for anything that comes up along the way. After all, you never know when there might be a spark...
