They say that there's a perfect match out there for every one of us. I like to believe that even while as individuals we may not be perfect, there is always your other half - somewhere out there...

What to say next - well I guess I'm interested in finding someone that I can do anything and everything with, my best friend, who likes to get dressed up and go out, or put on our favorite pair of jeans and go dancing, try new things, relax and be silly, go to sporting events, teach me how to golf better (please!), and hang out on the lake with. I have always grown up around the water - or in the water for that matter - and love boating and fishing (again, not the greatest). My mom even races sailboats! My other true love is baseball. I don't follow players and stats or anything like that, I just love to watch the game and play, and I've seen almost every baseball movie I think, at least once if not several times.

I love to cook and most think I'm pretty good at it. I used to work for a personal chef and did some catering. Eventually, my goal is to buy a house with a huge open kitchen and become a Certified Personal Chef and cook for people out of my home. It's a great supplement career or could even be my career down the road. Right now however, my kitchen just wouldn't cut it! But it is something that I love to do and thoroughly enjoy. Note - doesn't mean I like to cook every night :)

I enjoy having good conversation with someone on anything from history to comedy to just stupid random useless knowledge. Culture, diversity, experience outside "your own little world", an open mind, willingness to get outside the comfort zone, and a good sense of humor (absolute must, I'm too sarcastic for there to be no sense of humor). I like to hop in the car and go for little road trips or even stay local and just discover new things around town. I have a big slobbery dog (kind of a distant cousin to "Hooch") who I love to take out to the park and run around with. He might be a little more spoiled than my daughter, ok maybe not! Really, my daughter is the light of my life and the coolest little 2 year old ever. Not spoiled, well taken care of and minds her manners quite well.

Everyone thinks they're unique, but I will say that I am fair and consistent in what I do and in my relationships - it's give and take, love and support, and I truly believe that with all of my heart. And while some women profess that, I don't think they always act that way ;) I would like nothing more than to find someone that I adore, respect, care for, want to take care of and who returns those same attributes towards me.

My profile says I'm looking for dating, but I'm really looking for someone to have a relationship with that we'd both like to commit to long term. However, it does have to start with dating now doesn't it - and thus why we are here!

I guess it depends on how open you are and what your interests are along with mine. Suppose it would take talking to someone a bit first to come up with some ideas. Could be casual coffee, something exciting, spontaneous, it really doesn't need to be a tense ordeal. As long as we can talk and get to know each other, and we're both comfortable then it's all good!
