Well, here goes nothing. I'm a 23 year-old med student studying to work in an ER someday. I grew up near Chicago and I've lived here all my life, but I love to travel. My goal is to save enough money to see more of the world than I already have someday. When I'm not burying my head in a book I like to be active, whether it's hitting the gym, playing soccer, or just wandering around downtown Chicago aimlessly. One of the best days ever involved walking about 10 miles around the city stopping at various museums and restaurants with one of my friends. I'm a huge sports fan (Bears, Sox, Blackhawks). I'm also a huge music buff. I have really varied tastes, and I also play two musical instruments (bonus points if you guess what they are). I've also been known to go to karaoke bars on occasion. Ideally a first date should be something laid back that offers opportunity for conversation. Wandering around Chicago is a huge plus, otherwise dinner, coffee, or even something like bowling. Anything but a movie, because there's no real interaction with the other person, and the first date's all about getting to know one-another.
