I'm a Firefighter/EMT and love what I do. Sure its nice knowing I get to help people when they need it most, but really its about the adrenaline rush of a good fire or EMS run. I also like the history and pride that go along with the job. I used to be in the corporate world as a sales manager. I sold custom homes and lofts for a few years, but the recent real estate collapse motivated me to pursue my real passion as a fire fighter. I looked really good in a suit and tie ;) but now I prefer turn out gear to dress slacks.

I am really laid back and love to meet new people. I'm done with the club/bar hopping scene. I enjoy grabbing a drink or two here and there, but I would rather be somewhere that I can hear the person next to me talking. I have a black lab named Maggie who lives for a tennis ball!!! I try to take her as many places as I can, and St. Louis is a great place for that!!I spend a lot of time working on an ambulance in the city, as well as the fire house near home. I also have paramedic school and one more class in graduate school to contend with, but in my free time I enjoy going to the park, or just going on a hike or bike ride for a few hours. I'm not as athletic now as I used to be, but I love to be active!! I can't stand wasting a nice day cooped up inside. I am excited for warmer weather so I can start camping and floating!!!

I'm not expecting too much from this online profile. I really just want to meet some good people on here that I can hang out with. I don't like the expectation of trying to create an instant connection from a few emails. I am excited to find someone to spend my life with, but I'm not "searching" for it. That will happen when it is supposed to happen. Until then, I want to enjoy some good company and non stop laughs.Oh...and one more thing. I am an extremely optimistic person. I don't mean obnoxiously happy or bubbly, but I just have a positive outlook. I accredit this to my faith. So please don't message me unless you see yourself as at least SORT OF happy!!

First date?? Well that's not really something I already have planned out. It depends on what I know about a person, as well as what's available. Dinner and a movie are okay I guess, but I usually try to do something outside if its warm enough. Maybe a small concert, bike ride or a ballgame.
