It is pretty ironic that I am never at a loss for words until it comes to talking about myself. With that in mind, I am a good conversationalist who likes to talk about a variety of subjects - you can count on me to keep the conversation going. I have been told that I am a good friend who has deep insight into a person's soul. I enjoy a good laugh more than a good cry. I am a morning person who enjoys the quiet before anyone wakes, usually over a good cup of coffee or tea. I enjoy working out (walking, weights, aerobic classes, and running on the treadmill) while listening to my favorite old music (38 Special, the Eagles, Grateful Dead, Marshall Tucker). However, don't give up on me yet, as I have been seen also listening to whatever is most current. I enjoy my friends' company conversing over a good drink and meal. In the winter I ski, in the summer I go to the beach. In the spring I take a vacation somewhere new, and in the summer I do what ever comes to mind. My kids are older, and I have time by myself to do the things I most enjoy.

Enjoy? Eating new foods in new locations, listening to live music, dancing, shooting pool and darts, going to the movies, trying new things (I swam in a pool in a cave, rode a quad in the jungle in mexico, rode a camel).

Now I am looking for someone to share these experiences with and create new memories. I would like someone to walk on the beach and hold hands, someone to cook with, someone to eat with out on the deck, someone to drive nowhere with and just talk and listen to music. I appreciate good conversation and laughs, new experiences, and sunsets. I like to explore almost anything - people, locations, restaurants, conversation. What about you? Who am I looking for? Someone who enjoys living, likes experiences to remember, and whose company not only generates enthusiasm but also has a calming nature. However, most important, there must be chemistry.

I like to connect with the person. That could be over a coffee, drink, or dinner. As long as we can talk, the location isn't important. I believe you know pretty quickly if there is chemistry or not.
