I have a wide range of interests and a consuming curiosity about all kinds of things. I am paradoxical -- seemingly gregarious and fun to be around, but in truth an introvert in disguise. I love cities but prefer to live close to nature. I am independent and spirited, but sensitive and fiercely loyal to those I get close to. I love to laugh, and a wicked sense of humor is a plus -- but not at other people's expense. I am the most reverent / irreverent person you'll ever meet. I value kindness, compassion and generosity. In my free time I love to make things -- in a variety of artistic media, read, think, wander / explore, tend to or just hang with my critters, garden, write, ride horses. Music is a passion, and I love most genres. I love to find lesser-known musical talents and share them with friends.

I recently moved from the west coast across most of the country with some of my belongings and my animals. For the past year I have been living in a very isolated place outside a small rural community, but am now moving to a small town very close to the city, and I'm looking forward to my return to civilization!

I'd like to see if there's the possibility of friendship first before actually meeting. If we have things in common and really do like and respect each other, it won't matter what we do.
