What the heck, why not change this once in a while? I am a strange mix of being very shy, and very outgoing. Outgoing if it is work, but If I am attracted to you then I probably would lock-up mentally, which to be truthful, doesn't help my single situation much. Very monogamous, straightforward and on the geeky/goofy side of personality. I have the gift to be able to fix just about anything from leaky faucets to computers. Built websites, managed databases, managed produce departments, and backpacking/outfitting stores at different points in my life. Worked on a ranch in the summer as a kid, but grew up near the big city, so I like both lifestyles.

I am not interested in dating outside of the town I am living. I am a very intimate, touchy/feely kind of person, but only after I get to know you and trust you. I am not a texter, but I do like to converse. I would respect your independence since we all need our space, and if your are a creative type of person then you may understand me a little more deeply.

I would like to meet a more active person such as myself. One who has a job, and has no convictions, or drug abuse in their past. One who likes to walk to the store instead of driving to go shopping. A person who would like to go to Europe instead of Disneyworld.

I have two kids and they are very important to me, so at some point you will need to like kids too.

I do not like tattoos or piercing. I do like to drink but not to get drunk. Coffee in the morning is a must and using a locally roasted bean such as an organic coffee from the Governor's Cup.

I really love all kinds of music and movies. I regularly go out to see movies in the theater such as Avatar, which if you want my opinion, fun to see once because of the fantastic artistry in digital effects, but very, very weak in plot. I tend to like sci-fi/fantasy more than any other kind of movie. Another movie that is really good, is The Fantastic Mr. Fox, based on the story by Roald Dahl and really done well.

Been snowshoeing as of late, and would like to go skiing more, but it would be much more fun with a partner :) . Mountainbiking in the Summer is another sport I really like, along with backpacking/camping. Not really into other organized sports but can enjoy a good game such as the recent Civil war game.

I would like to keep it simple for my first date. Someplace where we could hang out and talk. I am an active outdoorsy type of person, not a party at the bar type. Believe in going Dutch, but I would open doors for you (kinda old fashioned that way). We men are supposed to be gentlemen, right?
