Is there anyone out there for an average shy guy or is middle aged dating only for millionaire hunks?

I'm a computer professional with a good income and a stable job. I'm highly monogamous and remain loyal to one person. Definitely not a "player". When I care about someone, I have a tendency to spoil her.

I like nice restaurants, horseback riding, picnics, backyard BBQs, sci fi books and movies. I listen to most kinds of music (except rap) but prefer The Blues and classic rock. I can't dance, but wish I could. I'm intelligent and my sense of humor tends to be sarcastic or dry.

I enjoy riding my Harley in the countryside with no particular destination in mind. I'm trying to learn to play the electric guitar, but I have the good sense to not torture my friends with my skills (yet).

I used to be an enthusiastic equestrian, but have barely been on the back of a horse in the past few years. My saddle sits in my living room gathering dust and mocking me. I'd love to get back in the saddle.

I'm hoping to meet someone for regular dating and fun activities. I prefer women on the thin side since I'm a bit thin (30" waist). Someone who lives close by would be a bonus as this makes it possible to do things on the spur of the moment (having to plan out every outing can be tiresome).

I tend to be shy when first meeting people, especially women.

A first date should be as casual as possible. I prefer to limit it to meeting for coffee or drinks.
