Profile update time.
So, I was perusing the other women on this thing (for profile ideas, calm down), and I have to say: yikes. I guess I have been a little TOO vague, but these women are so specific! Anyhow, here's my crack at doing the same since I seem to get emails from all types. I'll tell you about you, then I'll tell you about me once we get through the preliminaries.
I prefer someone who takes good care of themselves in terms of food and exercise, but isn't too obsessed. Physical attraction is really important to me, to be perfectly blunt, so someone who doesn't take pride in how they look (at least somewhat) will turn me off. I believe, from experience, that there's a fine balance in maintaining some semblance of youth throughout life as well as being a responsible adult. I'm no pro at this myself, but would like an energetic person in my life who is open to crazy new adventures and who isn't "too tired" all the time to do stuff. I am not an ageist, but I do tend to go for guys my age or a bit younger. I'm open to older guys, but have not yet been attracted to someone older. I appreciate a great sense of humour, a quick wit and general goofiness. I like passionate people who really appreciate things; especially the little details. Artists, musicians and writers are a particular weakness. I crave honesty, frankness, and sincerity. Ok, so maybe that's you. Here's me.
I love music (from indie rock, hip hop, electro...you name it), it inspires me daily (every day has its own soundtrack!), I love art but I need to be reacquainted a little, and I see beauty in many people and things. Having said that, I'm a sucker for a pretty face. I'm sometimes sarcastic, sometimes an open book. I'll tell you anything if you ask (and I like you). I can be very shy and quiet at times, but I'm also one of the most spontaneous and playful people I know. If I have the time, I'm pretty much down for anything, at the drop of a hat. I can be a total low-maintenance tomboy, or a difficult fashionista, depending on my mood. I'm as comfortable in crappy ripped up jeans as I am in skirts and heels, and will as likely join you for a vernissage as I will for sliding in mud during a thunderstorm. People feel comfortable around me, and I feel that's the best gift I was ever given.
I'm an animal lover and seek the same. If you're allergic to cats, pop a benedryl, cause I have 2.
