I'm a single mother that just turned 40 this past April. My daughter tells me that I need to get out more and that taking her to her extracuricular activities doesn't count......so here I am turning the next page in my life and ready to start sharing some of my time with someone that wants to spend time with me. I am a very easy going person that can get along with just about anyone. I don't like confrontation and drama. Life is too short to spend it arguing and miserable. Anyway, I enjoy simple things, I'm not a "material" girl or a "gold digger" I like to go out to dinner and a movie but am just as intent staying home and having a quiet home cooked meal followed by tv time. I enjoy going for long walks, a night in or out, doesn't matter to me as long as I am in good company. I am strong in my faith in God and would love for God to lead a man to share that with me. I think you have to be friends and build on that friendship before going any further. Starting out slow by talking maybe on the phone or email is a good start. Communication is number 1 right up there with trust. I like a variety of music. Country, Rock, 80's, 90's, Old School Rap to name a few. I am not into the bar scene, I don't do drugs. I think you have to get to know each other, be friendly. Getting to know each other can be by either emailing or talking on the phone. You wouldn't want to get to know each other at a sporting event, too loud. Go somewhere quiet to where you can enjoy the conversation without feeling awkward.
