•My name is Miguel, I'm in school for Recording Arts at Full Sail University in Orlando Florida, I pretty much love it besides the pain in the ass of sitting through lectures, they're not bad though. I graduate school tentatively in October, at which point I will be moving to home to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to open a modest recording studio; My brother and his wife just had their first baby, a little girl, making me a brand new uncle. Her name is Marlee, beautiful baby girl. I have a few months left in school, I cant wait to start working in my own studio, its gonna be a dream come true.

•I'm looking for somebody I can be happy with, I consider myself intelligent, I have a razor sharp wit, I tend to move slow, talk slow, and think fast; that being said I don't take myself too seriously, generally I am the butt of most of my jokes, I act silly because it amuses me to do so, I value my friends highly, most of them are friends I made in the military, and they are closer to me than most of my real family. I forgot to mention I was in the army for 7 years. I expect my girl to be able to keep up with me intellectually, I expect her (you) to be able to spell, it irks the hell out of me when every other word in an email is misspelled. I'm not psycho about it, I just appreciate a general ability to spell stuff.

•I am somewhat verbose, I am a good talker but I'm a good listener too. For better or worse I tend to open myself up to people I trust, I'm a good judge of character, on the few occasions when I've second guessed myself and trusted somebody I knew I shouldn't have, we'll just say I've learned to trust my feelings about people. I wear masks with most people, it's a security thing, pretty much everybody does; The philosopher is very deep inside me, not alot of people get to see that side of me, just outside of that is the cool calm and collected guy, this is my default setting, no matter what is going on I'm generally in control of my emotions, people ask me alot if I worry about anything, because I never appear to; which, I do worry about things, but that gets labeled top secret and tucked back there with the philosopher. Just outside of the CC&C guy, is the joker, this is what acquaintances see most of the time, I get animated and silly, because that's what makes me laugh. Please don't think that I'm describing a disorder, this is just the way I tick, and I'm never just one or the other, but always varying degrees of each.

•I like when people surprise me and make me take a second look, because that's what I like to do to other people. All the tattoos, the baby face, the earrings, and the rock/hip hop style of dress...people tend to get a preconception of me, I enjoy smashing that preconception with my polite manner, extended vocabulary, and general likability. It takes people off their guard, forces them to challenge their own preconceptions. I'm not conceited, but I know my strengths, and I have plenty of self confidence, the trick is leaving out the arrogance and introducing a little humility, add a little southern flavor and were I to fit in a nutshell, that would be the one.

•I'm great with kids, I tend to understand them better than most; I am not afraid of dating a girl that has kids, it actually doesn't sway me a bit.
