Older siblings should be our heroes, and our family and friends are those we'd want next to us in a foxhole.

I believe we are the product of our past experiences, and should be appreciated, not judged for that.

Going outside our comfort zones and traveling to the most foreign places is the best way to appreciate and truly understand home.

Fights with those we love should be resolved, not won or lost.

I believe that kids will always keep us from forgetting how simple and amazing life can be.

I believe we should respect, honor and thank those who serve in our military, whatever our political views.

I believe that losing someone close to you is a sure way to keep you from taking anyone or anything for granted.

I believe that a perfect summer day is one spent at a stadium or field, watching anything from Little League to pro sports.

I believe the best view should be from our front porch looking in. Of course,

I should mention these words come from someone who has jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. But you get the idea!

As for him, communication, honesty, & loyalty are key. He's confident enough to be himself, yet not so**** that he only notices himself when we pass a mirror.

He's bold enough to be up front with me, and trusts that I am strong enough to handle the truth. He's goal-oriented, but cares more about making a life than a living.

He's fun-loving and positive, but knows how and when to be serious.

He'll challenge me as much with one-line zingers and classic quotes from silly movies as with intellectual conversation. He brings out the best in me and believes I bring out the best in him.

He's not my clone, but is patient with and respectful of our differences. When it comes down to it, I want someone who is as proud to walk hand-in-hand with me as I am to be walking next to him.
