Well I've decided that instead of writing a very long, elaborate description of myself, I would just tell you what I'm NOT.

I'm not your typical male who hangs out at the bars all the time, who has a dip of chew in his lip, who doesn't know how to bathe daily and smell good, or who doesn't know how to share his emotions and talk about his feelings. I've got a savings account, a couple of cars, and a good place to live so I won’t be needing yours. Sound good? :-)

I'm relatively new here in Portland and really enjoy exploring and finding all sorts of fun, interesting things to do. And although I'm comfortable doing these things by myself, it would be even better with someone else. I really like going to movies, aimless drives away from the busy city (on 4 or 2 wheels), and enjoy completely random things like arcades or finding a place to play pool or just relaxing at Starbucks with good conversation & people watching. Not too much I wouldn't enjoy with the right person. I'm super goofy and would click well with someone that probably snorts every once in a while when they laugh.

What I've recently found out is that although I'm a hopeless romantic at heart and would love to find that awesome "someone", I'm also a new full-time student and I'm learning how to juggle studies with a social life. This will require some understanding. I have a background in law enforcement and now I'm pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology (I'm just starting out and have a long way to go.) I'm hoping to find an activity partner and go from there. I'm pretty much open to anything at this point.

Dinner followed by a drive, looking for a good place to see the city lights.
