I am one of the many San Diego transplants. I moved to the US from Canada (yes it is cold there in the winter) about 6 years ago and have spent the majority of the time in SD but have done some moving around. As for hobbies... nothing very specific besides the beaches, museums, the general outdoors. I will usually try anything once. I do enjoy a good book and always have something on the go but there's nothing wrong about staring at the TV every once and holding the couch down (sometimes mine tries to get away). I always love a good meal at home or out (I'm not a fan of doing dishes) and I must have dessert. I like to travel and have not done nearly enough of it and would love to meet someone who I could share my little adventures with.
