My name is Dana. I am a 37 year old mother of two great kids. I mention that first because they are the most important people in my life. They are amazing and I am blessed to have them.

I am currently a full time student and I am working at about 20 different stores in the area as a vendor representative. I love the challenge, but it is scary at the same time.

I enjoy traveling and road trips. Sometime the journey is more important than the destination. I am a movie and music fanatic. I can quote movie lines and music lyrics, and unfortunately often wonder what important information I could retain if I could just get the lyrics of all those d*mn 80's songs out of my head. I live in the country, but feel just as at home in the city. I enjoy intelligent conversations and I don't shy away from a debate, but I don't go looking for them. I am pretty easy going and laid back for the most part. Life is too short to stress over all the unimportant stuff.

I am still relatively new at this whole online stuff. I am looking to meet new people. I hate games, but I love to have fun and be silly. You want to know something about me, ask. I am who I am. I find time too precious to waste it by not being honest. I will be upfront and honest. I am not thin, but I am working on getting healthy. I love to laugh and appreciate an intelligent conversation. But at the same time, if the opportunity arrives in that conversation to go into the gutter, I will usually jump in with both feet. I am open minded. Lets face it, by our ages, we all have a past. The trick is to leave it in the past.

I love all types of music from The Beatles to Johnny Cash, back to the Killers and AC/DC. I was a projectionist for years, so needless to say, I have seen a lot of movies. If black and white films scare you, then I am probably not the girl for you. At the same time, I love GOOD horror films and Tarantino. The Hangover made me laugh harder than I have in a long time and I've seen Life of Brian too many times to count. I am currently working on writing fiction and I love reading.

I really have no expectations from this experience. I figure if I make some new friends that is great. If you have questions for me please ask. Just remember I can be sarcastic at times and if a comment can be taken in two direction, G rated or R, the later will always be my first choice. I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you, I don't pull my punches. Well now that I have probably scared you all away, I should close. My ideal first date would be anywhere where conversation is not hindered and fun can be had. A walk along the waterfront. Coffee and browsing through Powell's. A pint, pizza and a movie at Kennedy school. I love to try new things. But on a first date, I want to do something that reflects who I am with and what they like to do.
