I love music and photography. Have played the drums for a long time (seems like forever), am learning guitar (less so piano) and really enjoying it. I like going to live music shows, of all kinds.Bands that are currently in heavy rotation include Mika, Natalie Portman' Shaved Head, Muse, Guided by Voices, Arctic Monkeys, Miss Li, The National, The Beatles, Those Darlins, Camera Obscura, YACHT, Bill Withers, Lily Allen, She Swings She Sways, Johnny Cash, just to name a few.

I love to laugh, and humor is a huge part of my personality. You've simply _got_ to be able to laugh at the crazy stuff life throws at you, or you'll be nuts. Or boring. Boring sucks. Dry wit with a touch of sarcasm. If that's not your bag then you can probably move on to the next profile.

I love to learn and never stop. I can cook, clean, lay tile, paint, fix sinks, fix home wiring, and do windows. None of which I had any idea how to do until I had to, and then I just practiced until I figured it out. I'm no professional, but practice makes perfect. I like to learn new things.

I think I've done a pretty good job of living pretty fully up 'til now, and I intend to keep right on doing that, wherever it takes me. I'd like to find someone who I have to work to keep up with a little bit, and who sometimes has to work to keep up with me. Life should be more like an adventure story than a textbook.

I've got my boys 50% of the time, and I'm frankly a bad-ass dad, so while I have a good amount of kid-free time and make the most of it, if the existence of children isn't going work then for you then we're not right for each other.

Go for a hike, catch a comedy show, catch a blues band, or go dancing. Whatever we do, I'll be opening doors for you too, that's just how I roll.
