The best way to describe myself is to tell you that I'm a very down to earth guy. No pretenses or games. I enjoy going to the movies with someone special & afterwards discussing the film over drinks. And, I also enjoy spending time with my nieces (7 & 5 y/o) who are going on 27 & 25. (LOL) I'm spontaneous, enjoy experiencing new things and taking advantage of the spring and summer weather.

I'm 6'5" tall, with an atHletic build. I'm just as comfortable wearing anything from a tux to a pair of jeans and timbs. I'm flexible enough where I can check out a game at the Verizon Center one night and then attend a performance at the Kennedy Center the next evening. I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but I'm not really a club-bar-lounge kind of guy. I've kind of been there and done that. I I do hang-out occasionally with friends at a bar/lounge but it's not a weekly habit. I always however enjoy an evening out for a meal and drinks at a lounge with someone special.

I also enjoy traveling, going to museums and new exhibits that come into town. I've lived in the DC area for a long time but only recently started appreciating the cool neighborhoods, shops and restaurants. The thing that probably gives me my greatest satisfaction is coaching a youth basketball team.

I guess I want to do something in a setting that my date is comfortable with. Something light and easy. Maybe meeting up for coffee/lunch/or dinner.
