I am a laid back guy with an off beat sense of humor who is comfortable in who he is and what he wants from life. I'm loving and generous to those I care for and see the best in everyone or at least try to. Physical attraction is important but so is that special something that passes between two people that lets them know that this is someone you want to spend time with. It’s not something that you can anticipate or make happen, it just does. We have all felt this and I want to feel that feeling again.

Slightly younger women seem to attract me but I’m more interested in the person, not the age. Having spent a number of years in the music business, I was surrounded with younger people so my friends have tended to be younger than myself. Most people think I’m in my early to mid 50’s. Being part of the cultural revolution of the 60’s and 70’s provided with an open-minded philosophy and I want to spend time with a lady of a like mind set.

I don't have to be on the go all of the time but do enjoy getting out and enjoying life as well as enjoying down time for just the two of us, the proverbial “glass of wine and fire in the fireplace” that show up in so many profiles. I'm just as happy sitting under a palm tree enjoying a nice breeze and a good book as I am painting the town red. I have even been known to trip the light fantastic if the mood strikes me. My hobbies range from Fly Fishing to Photography. The local live rock and jazz scene as well as Symphonies and Opera are among some of the musical events I enjoy.

Cats have always shared my life and will again but currently I live alone. One little white lie in my profile and where I will lose some of you. I am totally and irrevocably separated from my ex-wife but because of her need for medical insurance we are Legally Separated until such time as either of us meets someone and needs or wants to file the divorce papers.

I would say that this should be the ladies choice but a glass of wine or lunch seems to be the most comfortable for both parties.
