I've been working for just over a year now, not very long for someone who's almost 30 but I spent alot of time in university (nine and a half years to be exact). But it was worth it having graduated in december 2007 with an Engineering PhD (don't let that put you of, I,m told that I'm not as boring as most most people with an engineering PhD). Studying wasn't all I did though as I joined the university rowing club when I first got there in 1998, they taught me how to row and how to drink. I've been rowing (and drinking) ever since, don't get to do it as much as I like at the moment but hope to start getting into it again soon (rowing that is).

Socially I enjoy watching films, DVD's and going to the cinema with friends. I also still enjoy a couple of drinks on the weekend and I must confess I love cheesey music (whilst attempting to sing to it in the fabled blue angle AKA the Raz). I also enjoy normal music.

I guess a first date is just saying hi and seeing how it goes. So for a first date somewhere comfortable where we could have a chat and some drinks maybe a bit of food, nothing complicated (I don't want to be spilling bolognese sauce down my top.)so probably something like a quite pub or coffee shop and then see what happens from there.
