| | I am interested in meeting open minded people for dating and see where that leads. It is important to connect on a personal level and I really must enjoy the sense of humor that you have (I tend to have a warped sense of humor and that can take some time getting used to). Life is too d*mn short to worry about the serious aspects of life. Besides, does it really matter if you spend an extra minute in the checkout line or the traffic light.
My Ideal Person: Ideal person would be funny, intelligent, attractive (to me at least), fun, witty and sensual. Ideally, they would be athletic, but not essential and when I say athletic, not a zealot who must exercise everyday or they will explode, but more of a person that values having fun in an active setting regardless of a true body type.
As for me - my hobbies include winter sports and some summer sports that are held on land (not being much of a swimmer tends to limit my shark hunting activities :) ). I enjoy movies of all types, live theater/music and just enjoy funny people to be around (comedy clubs are great for that). I have my own business and that makes for a lot of work hours at times, so someone who understands that would be a bonus.
I tend to like all types of music except country (of course I settle in an area where there are tons of country stations - go figure). They say to talk about what makes you unique, but for me, it just a combination of things from life experiences to my views on the world, sense of self and humor. It is tough to describe and probably is meant to be experienced :) Of course, my personality is not for everyone and chemistry is the real key. |

First date really depends on the person. Traditional dinner/drinks types of dates are ok, but to really have fun with a person, you want to do something active where you can really interact and have fun. That is really tough to commit to with someone you are just meeting, so maybe do that on a 2nd date after you decide you want to go past the first... |
