Me? I'm a likable, fun loving, romantic, yet sensible guy; who doesn't take himself too seriously. And while integrity is especially important to me, I sometimes lie about my age, as you will see below.

I keep fit by walking, hiking, sailing and long distance cycling. I like and respect people, mixing it with friends, and love to dance. I'm not a TV junkie, so I spend most evenings reading, writing, or solving a puzzle; while listening to good music.

I'm a grandparent and love it. It's a lot of fun hanging with my 3 yr. old grandson and playing with all his great toys. Had I known, I would have started off being a grandparent before having children of my own.

A few days per week, I assist one of my sons in a business I began several years ago and turned over to him. But, mostly I spend my time either working on or sailing my boat. Otherwise, I love cycling & am planning another long distance trip next spring.

I have a lot of fun with friends and family, but would love to meet someone special to share the joy of living and laughing. How 'bout you?

Full disclosure: I was born in 1940, not 1950. However, the pictures shown here are me. I just figured fewer people would actually find my profile, had I initially admitted to being 69; which, quite frankly, nobody believes. In fact, people approach me on occasion and tell me I don't look a day older than 68-1/2!!!

Meeting for lunch or a glass of wine, is a casual way to initially meet to become acquainted. As for a 1st real date, I'd like to take you out for a nice dinner and maybe do a little dancing.
