My name is C.M. Less than a year removed from college (I graduated last May with a B.A. in International/Area Studies), I now spend my days teaching English and occasionally Math and even P.E. to middle schoolers. It's fun and rewarding, never a dull moment, but exhausting! It's too early to know if I want to do it as a career, especially since I promised myself long ago to earn a master's.

OK, not that I'm a total bore lol. For fun, I like to spend time @ my local Border's or B&N, never even buying the books, just reading. I also enjoy the gym (basketball and yoga...yes, yoga!), and going to zoos, aquariums, cultural festivals, etc. I'm also a sports nut; my favorite sports to watch are the NBA, college football, and Summer Olympics. I do the whole club and bar with my friends sometimes, but not if I have to pay to get in and certainly not for the purpose of meeting people lol (most of them are crazy drunk!).

The no. 1 misconception about me is that people sometimes mistake shyness for standoffish-ness. I'm an honest person who doesn't mince words, but at the same time, I do and say what I think is best for the person...I guess you could call it "tough love". I'm nice, just don't mistake that for weakness, that's all.

I like all kinds of music: Duffy, Amy Winehouse, Common, A Tribe Called Quest, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, 2Pac, and N.W.A. are just a few of my favorites. For more though, you'll just have to ask!
