So I moved to Vancouver last fall for school but am back in Calgary having graduated. Yay!

I'm a writer, aspiring anyway. I'm a pretty quiet person but I can keep up my end of the conversation. Still I am rather comfortable with silence and spend a lot of time reading and writing.


Aside from the regular drinking scene I do enjoy music shows and movies. Pick-up games in most sports, swimming when I get the chance and running along Prince's Island. This city is pretty good for getting exercise.

The other half of what I'm looking for is someone I can spend some quality time with. Movies in, dinners, conversations and if it feels right intimacy. I've never met anyone who doesn't like to curl up with another warm body from time to time.

As for who I'm looking for I'm really not that choosy. I like people who have their own opinions and aren't afraid to debate those ideas. A certain level of attraction is necessary too, but less so than the intelligence. Just figure if things progress I'd like to want that person.

First date. Hmmm. I'd start with a movie, something light, so that we could get accustomed to having each other around. After the movie a quiet dinner, nothing fancy, just fun so that we can further our comfort level with one another through conversation. End it all with a hug goodbye and a light kiss on the cheek.
