Hrm...I have hobbies. They include, but are not limited to; playing a few instruments, practicing martial arts, baking cookies with friends I haven't seen in a while, and flying. (yes, really.)*

I work in high school special education as an instructional assistant, and I'm pursuing my MFA in poetry. You know, 'cause I'm a poet. So one day I'd like to actually publish a book, perhaps teach creative writing somewhere, and all that kind of academic stuff that would hopefully keep me institutionalized for the rest of my natural life.

I'm the sort to tilt at windmills, and have my ego bruised when the fight doesn't go how I'd like. So I'm looking for someone to set me straight. Or...maybe someone who knows how to beat the damn windmills.

*NOTE: There's been some confusion. I've never flown an airplane. I'd love to, but I just can't find the time.

A first date? Well, coffee's always a good first date, right? Good coffee. Or maybe something outside. The weather's been pretty good lately...ice cream? Ice cream outside? (I'd like to add at this point that if someone would prefer to substitute beer for coffee, I wouldn't make any argument.)
