I'm basically a sincere and intelligent guy who's hoping to find a soulmate, someone I can come home to every night and have that be the best part of my day. I live by myself in my own home in northern Baltimore County, with a few pets that I love dearly. I am a very honest guy, sometimes to a fault, and I'm pretty affectionate with the right girl. I'm an open book and will answer any question. I'm hoping to meet a woman who will take the time to get to know me, and allow me to get to know her, and see where it goes. I'm a software engineer for a UPS owned software company in Towson. Prior to that, I was a video game developer for a number of studios, primarily writing Artificial Intelligence. I'm also attempting to start a business entity for a fledgling wiki site that I help run so I can get paid to work on it all day, and then retire at 40 when someone pays too much for it. I still stay involved in the gaming industry to some extent. I snowboard when I can, and I also volunteer at an animal shelter.

It may sound very vanilla, but most of my best first dates are over a nice dinner at a restaurant, taking the time to talk and get to know each other. I like to take my date out to a restaurant of her favorite cuisine, but if it's up to me, I know a really cool Mongolian Grill in Columbia, a great Korean buffet in Baltimore, a Chinese place where the owners know me in Shrewsbury, and a nice Italian restaurant in York. So there's always plenty of options. If things are going well, a trip to a Starbucks or equally pleasant coffee place is nice way to follow up dinner. I like to go hiking somewhere, preferably with my dog, on subsequent dates.
