Can you list laughing as a hobby? I laugh any chance I get - life's too short. Funny is Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Russell Peters, emo kids, the original British version of The Office. I like doing some sort of physical activity (kinda keeps me smilin) - weights, running through mountain trails, single tracks on a mountain bike, even some dancing. I believe strong mind, strong body. That being said, I do read the odd book... working on Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and Paulo Coehlo's The Pilgrimage.


I love to travel. My last overseas trip took me to the Middle East as I am fascinated by the desert, and I followed it up with a road trip through the Nevada desert. My next trip is to do the Incan trail in Machu Picchu, Peru. My ultimate road trip: the Alaska highway down through California coast.

As far as music goes... on top of my playlist right now: Metric, Kings of Leon, The Detroit Cobras, Wolf Mother, Dave Matthews Band, TV on the Radio, The Cult, A Perfect Circle, Otis Taylor, Jessie Cook.

I like being low-key and take in a good movie once in a while. Some favs: Last of the Mohicans, Layer Cake, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Equilibrium.

How about grabbing a coffee and taking a stroll through the city. We could just talk and see if we click like that. If it goes pretty good, we can find a local mom and pop's type restaurant and take it from there. I'd like to keep it comfortable and easy going.
