I have so many interests, it's hard to call them hobbies. Having been a riding instructor for many years, I still ride for fun. I play golf, love football and most outdoor activities. I like to travel and explore. Anything close to nature is close to my heart. As much as I love dining out, movies and the like, a sunset on the beach will trump those pleasures just about any time. I'm involved in my community and volunteer with my local Kiwanis Club fairly often. I am an animal lover to be sure, but I enjoy people and parties just as much.

Being retired has changed my goals a bit. I want to hit the road and travel. I've been around the world a bit, but for me there are just as many uncovered adventures right here in the good ole USA. I think what makes me fairly unique is that I am who I say I am and I don't believe in games. I may be a little too down to earth sometimes---but anybody looking for a "la-ti-da" gal might as well keep looking ! Of course, I love country music---but I enjoy easy listening, rocknroll and the oldies (just like me !).

Wow...first date. I can think of all kinds of interesting dates, but I think most of us just want to have a drink or coffee and get to know each other before we decide to spend an entire day or evening together. Once we have a connection, I would prefer to do something where we can continue to learn about each other -- go on a picnic or beach visit....a hike or a wine tasting...even a museum or Sea World. Love dinners and movies, but sometimes they inhibit us and we don't really get to know each other as easily.
