I have a good sense of humor, try to see the positive about people and situations. Spending time with my friends and family is my favorite thing to do. I have 4 children, one still lives at home, or at least he stops in to eat on occassion. I have two dogs and a rat. Yes, a rat :) o.k., now it is three dogs and a rat. I am not sure how I ended up with the third. I am liberal. Like to discuss politics but won't argue politics with anyone. Spontaneous. I always try to do things myself before I ask for help. A habit that drives many of my friends crazy. I enjoy men with a sense of humor, who love to cuddle, and have things that they are passionate about. It is important to me that the people in my life are honest about who they are and what they want. I can handle the truth. People who are into material things don't impress me much. Although I enjoy the nicer things in life it is not all that important to me. I learned that it is the relationships I have with people that count the most. Really looking for a friendship first. I'm not sure I believe in love at first sight any more...certainly lust at first sight but I think love takes time. I am a kind, caring person. Almost to a fault. I find joy in giving to and being there for others. Little things, like making someones favorite breakfast on Sunday mornings, doing my kids laundry for them (even though they don't live at home I still steal thier laundry to do) getting a movie to watch with a friend that I know they will enjoy. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness or for stupidity. You would be so very wrong. If you are married or looking for a one night stand please don't contact me.

Depends on the person. I don't think of a first meeting as a "date." I would probably want to meet for coffee or go for a walk in a park.
