I love good conversation with someone who loves life, simple enjoyments, and has a great personality. I am slowing down to enjoy life. I like to travel most of the time close to home to festivals, to nearby bigger cities, or a cabin in the woods. Once or twice a year I like to go to New York, Colorado to ski, or some other fly to place. I'm just as happy cooking out in the back yard or watching a movie or good football game. I hate it when my job gets in the way, but sometimes it does, but mostly work less than 35 hours a week. I'm a casual collector of Beatle and Elvis collectibles. Pick most up at garage or estate sales. I want to find someone to have a great time with and that I could spend the rest of my life with, but not next week. So a friend for now would be fine. Some people hide things and it just takes a little time to not fall into traps. (Not that you are that kind of person - Ha) Are you confidently attractive? Are you fun to be around? Like intelligent conversation? Then we would be great together. By the way, you have to be someone who takes care of your self and to be really great looking would be icing on the cake. I like to make a girl feel special and secure at the same time. I like a wide array of music from Pink Floyd to Dylan to romantic jazz. Not too much on classical and rap. Don't care a lot for popish music that has been played into the ground on the radio.

First dates are a little uncomfortable for both parties. I suppose a coffee shop conversation would be easy. At least you would know if there is an attraction. For a second date a dinner at one or the other's house would be good to be able to tell you right off if you ever wanted to see them again. If they lived in a pig sty, it sure would save a lot of time. What a person's living arrangements are tells you a lot about them. I realize there are draw backs to that as well. Yes there are some out there you wouldn't want to know where you lived right off the bat. So there are plenty of other options. A nice restaurant is a great opener.
