I am a 36 year old, Divorced, single parent where my daughter (Persephone) lives with her mother only a few miles away. I get to see her every other weekend and on every Wednesday...nothing comes between my daughter and me. I took the eHarmony test, and apparently there isn't a single woman in the state of Washington that I am compatible with....I'm at an impasse in life right now and so if I had to answer questions about who I am or what I enjoy, I just don't have the answers right now. I don't know exactly what type of woman I am looking for, but tattoos, metal music and zero religion are big positives for me. I am not going to make the typical statement that I will never fall in love again nor do I even want that...I want love. I want companionship. I want my soul mate...I may never find her, but that won't stop me from looking. All my life I have had acquaintances and girlfriends, but never have I had true friendship or true companionship. I want what most people want…I want a woman who I can call lover and friend. I am a very, very complicated person. I am stubborn, opinionated, and hard to get along with, unless you know how to deal with me. I’m not saying that I am completely immature, just unschooled in the ways of true growed-up (purposely misspelled) interactions with people. You can say that I am a people person that has issues with people…Weird, I know…but that’s me. I am out going, funny, charming, handsome, caring…but also slightly obnoxious, angry, selfish...but all to a quiet extent. I am saddened and disenchanted in the world of love. Is there anyone out there that can finally be the one for me?

First dates are for conversation and getting to know the person....going to movies is too cliched and you can't talk to the person while in one; although, I would like to see a move on a date sometime...A nice dinner or a stroll in the park (if the weather is nice) is always good, but it's not about the where or what, it's about the time shared.
