I have decided to change it up a bit. The following is not a disclaimer.

For those of you interested in getting to know me, first and foremost, I tell it like it is and will always speak the truth. This may come off as sarcasm with a hint of elitism, but it truly is not. Sometimes it can be quite humorous or maybe even confused with that trait called charm. Be prepared for the entire spectrum.

I am not always a brooding kind of guy. I enjoy a good glass of whiskey, stimulating conversation (sometimes to the point of discomfort), incendiary music, moving literature, hiking, acoustic guitar, letting loose and being goofy, pubs and at times, time alone.

Music and movies are a love of mine. In regards to music, I am folksy/rock type of guy who likes the work of Bob Dylan, The Velvet Underground, Nick Drake, Alexi Murdoch, Dave Matthews and Brett Dennen. There are scores more, but I don't think you want me writing a ****ing novel about it. That should be reserved for one-on-one conversation.

I like my movies to move me. Whether it be to tears, laughter, introspection, terror, something that can get me to feel something intensely.

The truth of the matter is, I am looking for a woman that is going to set my world on fire from the earth beneath me, up through my body to the top of my head. Someone I can see traversing this world with, bringing out our inner daredevils, poets, rockstars, devils and angels. Someone who is confident and can hold her own, enjoys deep conversation as well as childish fun. I want to be challenged and told when I am being the emotionally-guarded, sometimes anal-rententive ***hole. Mind you that emotionally guarded ***hole is only a part of me, I am working on it, it is not the whole package.

Now I guess the above would make me look like a fickle type. A fickle person on a dating site seems like an oxymoron eh? I kid. I guess I just know what I want and am sending my signals to see what I attract.

Fortune favors the brave. Sometimes you just have to seize life by its ****ing throat.

Something that will evoke emotion, laughter and conversation. Alcohol is most likely to be involved followed by a physical activity under the influence of alcohol just to make the night more challenging.

When I think first date I think of the following: walking, talking, drink, food, old fashion picture booth, awkward moments, moments of discovery, angsty moments, some banter, some laughter, possibly some frolicking, and maybe dessert. Any combination of the above, just off the top of my head.

Or we can just have tea and take a walk.
