I have been very self sufficient for a lot of years now, I would like to learn to relax a little and maybe allow myself to need someone. I enjoy doing renovations to my home, I enjoy my career, and have spent significant amounts of time working, I enjoy spending time with my children and their children. I have just recently begun thinking about my future, and what I would like it to look like, and I think travel will be important to me. As such, I think it won't be much fun if I don't soon find someone I would like to travel with. I want to spend time doing some exciting things like white water rafting, rain forest exploration, para sailing, and relaxing too. I have lots to offer, but I'm not sure the man I am looking for exists. He should be funny...lame is okay...decent looking...good hearted, financially stable, intelligent but not a know it all, can't even consider a smoker...not drink to get drunk, and treat me with respect.

Short first date...just enough to meet, and not enough to get uncomfortable. Response by email after, do determine whether to proceed. Then a casual dinner, conversation and a chance to get to know each other. I prefer to save excitement and adventure for someone I am comfortable with and trust completely.
