I still consider myself new to the West Coast- originally from Eastern Europe, I landed here after six years on the East Coast. I've been in LA for two years already (wow, time goes fast!) but still trying to get into the city's culture.

I am mostly looking to meet new, interesting, intelligent, and down to earth people.

I believe I am a good person and value the same trait in my friends. I guess I can be nerdy at times, but definitely not as much as a typical PhD. I do have some habits though, that many people find nerdy or unreasonable. For example poor punctuation and typos irritate me when they are made by native speakers. I will not read through your profile if there are many typos or if it is too long (unless I find it amusing right away). Also, sometimes I am pretty stubborn if I face the possibility of failure. I am bad at accepting defeat, I am used to winning.
