I love cats, rain, thunderstorms, Fridays, autumn, the whiff of freshly brewed coffee in the morning, green lights (especially in the morning), beaches (Huntington and Santa Monica are my happy places), and daydreaming. Some tv shows that tend to suck me in are home buying shows, Forensic Files, Rock of Love, Daisy of Love, Family Guy, and Chelsea lately.

I also enjoy traveling. I went to California last year for my vacation. I've also traveled to Seattle, Vegas, and several parts of England. Just got back from the Cayman Islands, and after swimming with the stingrays and snorkeling, I want to do some more of that!

I like reading, shopping, needlepoint (beginner), gardening, and a bit of writing when I get the inspiration.

Okay, now about me. I could go on and on about ways to describe myself, but how I perceive myself might not be mutual to someone else. So I'll give a brief view, and leave it up to you.

For the most part, I'm reserved and keep to myself, though I also have a tendency to be a bit neurotic and goofy/silly when I've had too much caffeine. While I used to love the idea of going out and partying, in reality, my idea of a nice Friday night is curling up and watching tv or reading a good book, or chatting on the phone, though the weather is getting nicer, so it would be nice to go out and hit a few hot spots. I've lived on my own and been independent and done for myself ever since I moved to Columbus 7 years ago. I do fine on my own, but I do keep the prospect of finding my soulmate open. So if I see someone with qualities to my liking, great. If not, that's okay too. I take it as it comes. It's hard to pinpoint what I'm looking for. I'll know it if I see it. I will say if you're the type of man that lives for football, we're probably not going to have a lot in common. I also prefer you like, or at least can tolerate cats.

I like a wide variety of music. Extra points for you if you know what song my headline is from. :)

Something adventurous like digging for nightcrawlers or skydiving. (If you took that serious, that's just sad.) For real though, any comfortable settings. Coffee places are always great for a first date, though they're starting to seem a bit of a cliche. A museum or any place you can talk and casually get to know one another. Watching a freshly painted wall dry can even be fascinating with the perfect person. Yes, now go ahead and ask me if I'd like to go watch a wall dry.
