I enjoy music, theatre (such as Phantom of the Opera), summer days on the lake, trips to the mountains, and walks on the beach.
I like most types of movies with the exception of horror films.
I like pretty much any type of music with the exception of "head-banging"/hard rock. Still like to hear the 80's at times. Also enjoy music from before my time.
I feel I should have been born in an earlier generation.
I'll admit I feel I haven't found that one thing I was meant to do with my life. I hope that one day I will finally figure it out or maybe even (possibly) just happen upon it.
I have had the "travel bug" for sometime now, and there are several places I'm interested in getting to see. It can be a pleasure trip, or I am also interested in (possibly) finding a job where travel expenses are paid for,(rent, etc) so that in my spare time I can explore this new territory I have never seen before, not to mention experience it from the standpoint of someone who lives there on a daily basis. I like to people watch when I'm somewhere different and think no one is paying attention to me.
I would like someone that I wouldn't have to feel that I am the only one keeping the conversation going. Also, someone that honestly wants to know things about me so that when we are out, they can plan something that I would enjoy also.
Looking for someone who knows me as well as I know myself (kind of), so that I can be surprised with a trip somewhere I've wanted to go to or to a restaurant I like. (I don't have any place that's really a #1 choice, but as long as it's somewhere I enjoy eating when the opportunity arises)

My idea of a (good/great) date would be being picked up and taken to a favorite restaurant and a movie that I like (without having to pick it) OR surprising me with a day trip to somewhere new & interesting for a quiet lunch somewhere (picnic or a quiet restaurant) and sightseeing. Open for anything where we are able to talk and get to know each other.
I'm somewhat old-fashion, and would like someone that knows what it really means to be a gentleman and not just a one-night stand.
