It's hard to believe but apparently engineers aren't considered quite as sexy as firefighters (crazy, I know!). Yet I feel I have an amazing profession and am excited waking up every day. I've worked locally, internationally and am proud to say I'm good at what I do. Recently I started my own business and loving it (what recession??). Nothing like the thrill and freedom of growing something on your own.

I'd like to think I'm a well rounded person from having great friends, fitness goals and some artistic interests. My friends would say I'm a bit of an alpha male - probably from growing up with two brothers. I've tried pretty much every adrenaline rush / major challenge out there (sky diving, scuba diving, marathons, rock climbing, rafting, army, etc). How else does one become a man unless he tries things that scare him? I love the smell of the outdoors whether it be interior camping or sharing a drink on a local patio. Interests range from fine foods, red wine to intellectual debate and travel (Egypt, Central America, Finland, Azerbaijan, Turkey, etc). I recently picked up running again... I remember it being easier.

I'll admit I've been working quite a bit lately so it would be great to find someone who can appreciate a guy with ambitions. I'm holding out for someone who smiles constantly and laughs easily. Someone sincere, beautiful on both the inside and outside, down-to-earth and adventurous.
