I love pampering my guy and love to be surprised with flowers - just because he's thinking of me, not just because it's the 14th of February. I don't do Valentines Day!

I hold a Private Pilots Licence and am currently working towards an aerobatic rating. Am never happier than when I'm a few thousand feet above terra firma and preferably inverted. I aim to compete in aerobatic competition. Look out for me in the Red Bull air races sometime! My passion for aviation began with a flight through the Grand Canyon when I was 11 years old, in a Twin Otter.

I lived for a year in the Torres Strait, on Horn Island, just across the pond from Thursday Island. I was working for Surveillance Australia, performing airborne surveillance duties for the Customs Department of the Australian Government. I was basically an airborne spy - really!! Although I am back in the IT industry, that was the best job I have ever had. The pay sucked, the living conditions were primitive - but the office view couldn't be beaten!

Am adamant that I do not want children. Yours are fine, however.

Although my age is stated as 42, I really look more like a 35 year old. I have inherited great genes, I guess. I like to keep myself in shape. I can make a man feel very special if he is the right one. Bit of a tomboy at heart, but can can get seriously "dolled up" if need be. Have the best toned, athletic legs you have ever seen. I am what you would describe as "low maintenance" - I own one handbag and 4 pairs of shoes. I hate shopping for clothes with a passion.

I'd far rather be complimented on my intelligence than my looks, so if you IM me with "Hey hun" or "Hi sexy" you won't be doing yourself any favours :))) Also, you score Brownie points for spelling skills. Guys, it's "sense" not "sence" (as in "common sense"???) and if you're looking for your "sole mate", then you're better off grabbing your fishing rod and heading down to a beach to land one. A sole is a fish.

I do take time out, just chilling and enjoy having space for "me" and I need that in a relationship.

I once played "myself" at a game of Scrabble, during a power black out. It was a fiercely fought battle between Me1 and Me2, but Me1 came up trumps with an outstanding triple word score, deftly utilising the letter Z to steal the game. My best "party trick" is reciting the alphabet backwards in less than 4 seconds. It's true! You can time me if you want :)))

As for hobbies - where do I start! I am an outdoorsy girl who grew up in the country. I can fix your tractor and re-string your sagging fences. Other interests are sailboarding (windsurfing, for the uninitiated) , horse riding, especially in Victoria's high country, scuba diving, have skydived and want to get back into it seriously (why do pilots decide to throw themselves out of perfectly serviceable aircraft?) and I love to fish, with a catch and release policy. I only take enough for me to eat!
Avid reader, especially thrillers, forensics, crime etc.
Huge fan of Richard Bach. Detest with a passion Mills and Boon-type novels. Also into aviation text books. Sounds dry, I know, but it's a necessary evil that is part and parcel of being a pilot.

I also love cooking gourmet meals for my family and friends. I am addicted to Iron Chef episodes. Love Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson, but I do like to take a recipe and make it my own, with a little experimentation - on myself first. I am an avid herb and vegetable grower - takes cooking to a whole new level when you use home grown produce, freshly picked from your own garden. I try to be as organic as I can, with companion planting doing the job of getting rid of those pesky pests. Mother Nature sure knew what she was doing when she created this place we call earth. Pity, we as a species have pretty well stuffed it up.

I have a thing for thunderstorms- I just love them - but not when I'm flying!!!. Airborne, they're just big, scary things to stay the hell away from at all costs. I mean when I have my feet firmly on the ground .
I can think of no better way of falling asleep than in the arms of someone special, with rain pelting the roof and the rumble of thunder sounding overhead and with lightening flashes in the sky. Magic........

What I'm after:
Someone who can communicate openly and honestly and doesn't have too much baggage. Am after a guy who can be a best friend, a lover and my partner in crime.
I am a big believer in chemistry. I'm looking for a man that makes me go "WOW" physically, mentally and emotionally. Just be you and tell it like it is! The rest will fall into place.

Just as happy to have fish and chips, sitting on a beach watching a glorious sunset, as I would be in a 3 star Michelin rated restaurant, enjoying a silver service experience with a doting maître d' named Claude - and you, of course!
