As for what I am looking for - looking to break out of this rut I am in with regards to seeing and meeting the same type of people out and about. I figured I would stretch the boundaries a bit and see what can be found online etc. Too old to be playing games these days. Friendship first of course is of utmost importance and I am looking for someone more my equal or partner, if that makes sense. I wouldn't mind if this individual pushed me beyond my boundaries as well.

Last piece of information that I feel is critical - I do have 2 kids who mean the world to me. They live with their mother 200+ miles away but that does not stop me from seeing them often.

First Date? Definitely not a movie. How in the world are two people to find out more about each other in the dark when you can't talk. Coffee or a Drink works for me, but much depends on the person.
