I’m generally an easy-going person. I love good conversation and a good laugh. I like being with someone who is maybe a bit more outgoing and adventurous than I am to balance my quietness, but I tend to like the strong, silent types.

I believe life is our playground, and I follow my passions. I seem to gravitate toward activities that challege me mentally and physically. I'm always looking for ways to improve myself and expand as a person, and I'm happiest when I'm learning something new.

I've spent 25 years mastering the art of horsemanship and equine/human psychology of learning. I'm a self-taught web designer/graphic artist. And I'm heavily into martial arts. I study almost every day, and it's a way of life for me.

That said, I know how to let things go and enjoy my down time. I'm not someone who is so busy working that they let life slip by. I'm busy doing the things that beat my heart and bring me joy. Every day I smile at what an awesome life I have, that I get to experience all of those things. I'm not looking for someone to complete me. I'm offering myself, already complete and balanced, to the right person.

My areas of interest are pretty heavily integrated into my way of life. I think it would be very hard to have a relationship with someone who wasn't interested in at least one of those things, as well. I realize that limits who I'm compatible with, but as you can probably guess from my profile, I'm not one who "settles" for just anything in life.

I’m in pretty good shape physically, and I try to lead a healthy lifestyle. I’d like to be with someone who shares those qualities. I'm not hung up on classical good looks, but I think that physical attraction does play a part in chemistry.

I enjoy the simple things in life. ...walks through the woods, cooking a meal together, curling up in front of the fireplace for a movie or chat. The artist in me appreciates anything of beauty, whether it’s a work of art in a museum, a symphony, poetry or the perfection of nature. This general attitude of appreciation and quality carries over to the way I live my life. If I give my attention to anyone or anything, I always give the best of myself and look for the best in others.

When I’m in a relationship with someone, I’m very affectionate and really enjoy spending time with the other person. I do, however, think that giving each other space to breath is a good thing. I’m very comfortable with my own company, and I know how to entertain myself. I would love to find a strong man who is confident, intelligent, funny and is as passionate about life as I am.
