Long-time divorced mom of two grown kids who works too much and plays too little. Not that life is so bad but I'm sure that my time could be better served with a few laughs, great conversation and the company of a man who finds me equally amazing. Yes you are right, I have been on this site before and it's nice to see you haven't given up either. I eventually hope to locate the guy out there for me who understands that long-term doesn't necessarily mean "joined-at-the-hip". No hurry to shack up or drastically change anyone's lifestyle to the point where panic ensues and something that may have been great over time is ruined by haste. The relationship will have plenty of love and trust and each step will be mutually taken by two mature adults - be they short or long; the key word here is "mutual".

Me - I work steady 42+ week; own a house and a car and an attitude that's all my own. Prefer simple pleasures in life; probably because those are the ones I'm familiar with but not to say I'd rule out any opportunities for new experiences. Tall, fit and mentally stable most of the time. Farm raised and a bit of a tomboy with an affinity for the outdoors, chrome and anything with four legs. I have recently quit smoking. and yes, they were right - ex-smokers are the worst. In that regard I must say that I do not want to smell like it, clean-up after it; and on a more optimistic note - taste it. And when I say non-smoker - I mean anything you might need to fire up.

You - financially secure, fit and fairly satisfied with the hand you've been dealt so far - no whining about ex's, kids or missed opportunities - you actually see them as learning experiences and you do not resort to substance abuse to put any problems you may have behind you. You should be physically fit, generally well groomed and if you have kids they should be aware of the fact that Dad is dating again. If you can't be honest with your own, I don't stand a chance.
