I'm passionate about being a Restauranteur - My work is my hobby. My goal is to be 100% local in the choice of my ingredients. My hope just to be happy and to (perhaps) share my life with someone special. I'm extremely outgoing but I also love to be quiet and relax. What may make me unique is that I totally survived a three year battle with cancer and afterward I started my life all over again (...from scratch since I blew my money thinking that I was going to die). I have built a very successful coffee roasting/restaurant business. I'm unique in that I work like crazy but I'M NOT A WORKOHOLIC. I'll pick up and go at the drop of a hat to: The Bruce Peninsula. Salsa Dance?, scuba dive?, pick Pinot Noir? Music? I love Bowie, David Sylvian, Elizabeth Sheppard, Brian Ferry/Roxy Music, Nick Cave (too mention a few).

As far as any 'date' would go, I would not have any expectations and treat the occasion as I would going out with any of my good friends - with respect and an intention to have a free-flowing experience full of laughter. Picking ingredients and sharing in the experience of preparing food is central to my idea of a 'date'. Dining must be a strong emotional experience. I would hope my (or my Chef's) preparation would evoke laughter, joy, and a feeling of loving-warmth. If there is a romantic intension I would hope that love-making would begin with the first gaze from across the table, with the first feel and taste of that first bite or swoosh of wine in the glass. Like a long kiss, dining must be a sensual experience. Dining is central to that first date.
