I like travelling, and just hanging out, enjoying witty people and good conversation. I'm a big sports fan and avid golfer. I often travel to watch my favorite teams (Univ. of Wisconsin football and basketball, Packers, Cubs). I also like reading, movies, biking, comedy clubs, outdoor cafes, brewpubs. I'm lucky enough to have retired at a relatively young age. I was in a profession where that was an option and I thought I'd take the opportunity to just take it easy and enjoy life, so I guess if you're looking for an ambitious, driven, career-minded type of guy, I'm not for you. This doesn't mean I'm looking for someone that is also retired...I'm a very independent person who likes his own time and am perfectly okay with someone who likes the same, whether it's for her job or hobbies or both. Then again, I love being in a relationship where we can share everything with each other and where I always look forward to being with that person. I AM admittedly very picky, but I know there is somebody out there for me.

I don't really enjoy dating just for the sake of it and really don't want to waste anyone's time if I know she isn't for me. I have to be physically attracted (I really need to see a photo or two), I prefer girls who are reasonably fit and thin (I'm hardly a fitness freak, but I exercise regularly), I'm attracted to girls who are smart and have a good sense of humor. There are certain traits/interests that usually make me shy away...smoking, fake boobs, motorcycles are some examples. Undoubtedly a few more things too! I'm not condemning those things, they're just not for me.
