I recently joined the world of Online Dating, something I don't have all that much experience in, or dating for that matter, but I am good at the internet and proficient in Google!

I'm in the process of starting a new life for myself. I'm single for the first time in about 15 years so I am teaching myself how to cook again and learning how to keep myself happy and healthy.

While I'm not 100% sure what I am looking for right now (or even if I am ready to look/find/fall for someone), I do enjoy meeting new people and the occasional stimulating conversion...and I mean that in the most PG of manners. I'd love to find someone to spend some free time with, have fun, go out, stay in, try some new or do something typical.

Not to come off as total ****, but I feel the need to make a few things clear. I am not here to play games, I am here to meet an awesome guy who can make me laugh, teach me new things and hold my attention. I have been learning that I lose interest quite easily so I may be a bit of a challenge for you. I will only exert as much effort in a reply as you give when you message me. I am usually a bit reserved and shy around new people, but once I get comfortable I tend to be quite straight forward with my opinions.

I was born and raised in New England, so don't expect me to be your typical Jersey Girl.

I sleep with my blackberry and my over stuffed cat. I laugh a lot... usually at myself. I'm PC and Mac Compatible. I must have music in my life or I'll just die!!

I am a project manager in the IT/Financial field. I'm good at my job, but it's not something I hope to be doing 10 years from now.

I'm very active online and in social media. I've been blogging and podcasting for years, which makes me a bit of a geek I suppose. I love technology and gadgets, but I'm also quite a girly girl with a serious shoe collection and makeup case to prove it :)

I am selfish with my free time and have a very busy work week, but I would love to have someone for an occasional dinner date (out or in), weekend adventures and regular sleepovers ;) This works best if you live fairly close, so please keep that in mind.

I haven't done much "dating" but coffee is a good start!

I only date white boys, who are close in age to me (preferably older). I like to laugh so say something funny (I am good with sarcasm). I'm looking for someone who is sincere, and responsible - with a good job, your own place, and a decent car.

You should be attractive, somewhat healthy and active, but willing to spend a day in bed once in a while ;) No crazy allergies and MUST like Cats!

It will never work if you temperamental... I can be stubborn and selfish and difficult to deal with at times (read: monthly). You'll need patient too... I'm always running late :D

Lastly - Don't waste my time. If you ask to meet up and I agree - let's do it. If you decide after talking to me that you're not into me - Tell me! I'm a big girl and I CAN take it. Blowing me off is not only rude and cowardly, but it shows you have zero integrity! Guys were born with balls...I suggest you use them for all they are worth.
