i’m fun and eclectic * i wear flip flops all year ... even in the winter * i love to cook … but hate cooking for myself * walking on the beach with my toes in the ocean is one of my favorite things to do * i am in love with football * there is nothing more important in my world than my friends and family * i love the rain … dancing in it – running in it … playing in it * i don’t lie … ever – even if that means saying something you don’t like * i love buying gifts for people and doing nice things … just because * i’m not a morning person * don’t tell me you’re going to do something … and then not do it – that’ll only make me angry * i’m always late for everything … but i try not to be * i love sushi * i believe in volunteering and helping other people … and not expecting something in return * i am addicted to traveling … i want to visit every state and each continent and the 7 Wonders of the World* i am afraid of the dark * i am in love with being in love * i love with my whole heart and i love completely * i trust totally … sometimes too much * i laugh, cry and learn on a regular basis * i apologize when i make a mistake * i look at everything as an opportunity to learn and grow * i live for my friends and spending time with them – there’s nothing better than a night spent with good friends, laughter and a bit of alcohol * i love concerts * i love a nice glass of wine with dinner … but i hate beer * i love acting like a kid sometimes … even if i embarrass myself * i'm a Democrat - but believe in voting for the person and issue - not party lines * a few things i enjoy: picking apples ... fireworks ... ethnic foods ... playing pool ... cuddling on the couch … watching a good movie ... making new friends ... fair & rodeo season ... peach tea ... snow ... and pedicures * i love to try new things * i’m spontaneous and planned * i truly believe everything happens for a reason.

There are 4 things in this world that I truly love: people. sports, politics, music.


I graduated from OSU in 2002 ... and got my Master's in Social work in May 2005. Since then - I've worked in The Dalles as an Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Therapist ... in Portland as a Mental Health Crisis Counselor ... and most recently as an Intensive Community-Based Child and Family Therapist. I love working with kids and families. I just became a professor ... so that's fun and new.

I love to travel and see new places. My goal is to visit every state (I've been to 39 states already) and each continent (I've been to 4 so far (North America: Canada & Mexico ... Europe: France, England, Italy, Spain, Portugal ... Africa: Morocco ... Asia: Israel/Palestine)- I'm willing to skip Antarctica though - for logistical reasons of course). I'd also like to see the New 7 Wonders of the World ... so I'll use that as a guide.

There's no way to say this for sure ... because it would totally depend on who I'm going on a date with, what time of year it is, and what we both enjoy doing. Meals are good - but kinda over-done. Coffee is okay - but it can be too short to really have a conversation. I haven't been to the zoo in a while - that could be fun. Or an event around town - maybe sports ... that sounds like a good idea.
